First stream of 2026
Yesterday I streamed, woo! After a lot of self-encouragement! I worked on my Lorwyn themed Magic cards, as I want my Kithkin deck to have some good cards in but they don’t fit the theme. I finished off my card border and started drawing my commander Brigid, Clachan’s Heart wearing some Gauntlets of Light.

I did most of this art on stream but I’ve done a little work on her face today. There’s uh, still a way to go, but I’m trying to get braver about showing work in progress in the age of instantly generating images, both as a little evidence in case I am ever suspected of generating images, and so that people can have some insight at what my work flow is like, if that helps anyone. Not that it’s a good workflow that anyone should necessarily learn from, but I now feel like showing the human process is important and helps combat the idea that images should just pop into existence at the cost of the livelihood of artists and the environment.
I also shared this site on stream and got a bit of feedback that it wasn’t working great on mobile, so I’ve changed what size some things are. The gallery squares are half the size so it’ll look a little more similar to Instagram sizes, and I made the social link icons half the size to give me more room to expand the navigation if I add more pages. However I’m getting a bit tired of the complications of this layout so I will almost certainly be scrapping it when I make a new design.
Next task is to make my RSS feed link a nice button or something but now I need to organise the Blood on the Clocktower games this evening, get dinner started early, and prepare for a job interview tomorrow.
